Texas State Bobcats Women's Basketball San Antonio reviews
Fun but not great
The food signage was not great. I have no idea what else they had besides popcorn and pizza. Maybe the soft drinks were self-serve? We only saw some in the public area, not behind a counter.
The sound was not great. It would be nice to go to a concert where you can hear the lyrics clearly instead of trying to decipher them. A bit more balance in the sound would be better.
The hallways can get claustrophobic as space is limited.
The seating area is dark with black seats, which may not be ideal for basketball season.
The setup problem was that they numbered the rows but not the seats, making it confusing to find your seat.
The bathrooms near the floor area were not well-equipped, with only two toilets for six urinals. The water handles were difficult to use, requiring both hands.
We explored the venue earlier and found it easy to go up, but getting back down was confusing. The elevator sequence led us to the wrong floor until the operator directed us correctly.
The overall experience was okay, not great. The sound was subpar unless you enjoy feeling the bass vibrations. Drinks were the only thing we had, and a mixed drink cost $14.00.
The MUNI ride after the event was chaotic, with long wait times and delays getting to the embarcadero. It took over an hour to travel from Castro to Chase Center, indicating inefficiencies in MUNI's operations.
